A circle…for the simple human joy of singing!

 

Do you love to sing?

Do you long for a creative community?

Do you want to have fun and feel supported in your creative expression?

Are you moved by the resonance of the human voice?

​

Then this Circle's for you!

​

Who: Aliza Winship, Simone LaDrumma, and a few other creative, loving people 

​

What: Community Song Circle (free!) ~ bring 2 - 3 songs or musical ideas to share ~  All levels of musicianship are welcome ~ 

​

When: Tuesday November 1 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm 

​

Where: Private, outdoor venue in Ravenna

 

* We cultivate a safe and sacred space where everyone is held in unconditional positive regard. Together we witness and support each other’s creativity in community. 

 

We'll start with a few warm up games and icebreakers, and then we'll go around the circle, giving each person a chance to sing: 

 

~ Anything at all! It can be something prepared, improvised, an original song or a cover, a capella or with an instrument. You choose and there is no right or wrong. You can even pass if you're not ready in that moment.

~How would you like the rest of the circle to participate?

 

~ With quiet attention

~ Sing along

~ Sing on just the choruses

~ Harmonize

~ Clap

~ Snap

~ Jam or improvise

~ Etc.

This is not about performance or perfection, but about having fun and sharing for the simple human joy of singing!
